Description
The building is a manse and chapel, constructed with coursed and squared stone for the chapel, roughcast render for the hall and manse, and slate roofs. The chapel features a wide pedimented gable facing the street, with the original entrances located on either side, which have since been blocked, likely when the schoolroom and porch were added to the north. However, the radial fanlights remain as windows. The chapel has paired tall central round arched windows and similar windows in the west gable, while the south elevation is blind. A gabled porch provides the current entrance to both the chapel and the schoolroom/hall, situated against the north wall of the chapel. The hall is a single-storey, three-window range, featuring 12-pane sash windows with flat arched heads. Adjacent to the hall, balancing the chapel with a gable facing the street, is the former manse, which has a doorway to the right and a 12-pane sash window at the centre of the gable on each floor, along with a side wall stack.
The interior largely dates from 1842, with some alterations. It includes box pews, some of which now block the former doorway and are contemporary but reused. The low pulpit and tall reredos-panel both feature neo-gothic tracery. The set fawr was altered in the later 19th century, likely when the schoolroom was added. The ceiling is flat plaster with decorative roses.
