Description

Village Pine is an early 19th century, late Georgian building featuring three stories and a one-window front. The façades of Nos 15 and 17 are finished in painted roughcast, while No 19 is made of whitewashed rubble. The roofs are slate with boarded eaves, and No 15 has cement render chimney stacks, while No 19 has a tall red brick stack. The left side of the building has rubble quoins, and No 19 features rusticated quoins and a plinth.

Nos 15 and 19 have small pane sash windows, with the first-floor windows having architraves. The first-floor window of No 19 is lugged and has a faceted keystone. In the middle, No 17 has a 4-pane casement window above a splayed oriel with sash glazing. The shopfronts of Nos 15 and 17 are twinned, featuring a cornice supported by bracketed panelled pilasters, with panelled stall risers and a 4-pane shop window at No 15. Barley twist columns flank the central entrances, with a half-glazed panelled door at No 15 and a blocked entrance at No 17, which has a modern window inserted. There is also a modern door to the right end of No 17. No 19 has a shop front that is offset to the right, with an overall cornice and panelled pilasters flanking a tripartite sash window next to a 6-panel door, which was formerly double.

At the rear, No 19 has a tall rubble cross range with camber-headed small pane sash windows. No 17 has some similar windows, while No 15 features modern windows.
