Description
This building is a late-Georgian style, three-storey, one-bay shop and house that forms part of a single range with Nos 17 and 19. The front has been later remodelled to match No 19, featuring a scribed roughcast exterior painted cream, with black-painted raised quoins on the right side, balanced by quoins on No 19, and a slate roof. The shop entrance on the left has a glazed door and overlight, accessed by slate steps, along with a plate-glass shop window, all framed by simple pilasters. The original fascia has been removed and the wall has been rendered instead. On the right side, there is a replacement panelled door and overlight beneath a cambered head, set in an eared and pedimented surround. The building features hornless sash windows within eared architraves, with a pediment above the 16-pane first-floor window and a 12-pane (4+8) second-floor window. The interior has not been inspected.
