Description
The former manse at Capel Mawr is an L-shaped building from the 19th century, featuring two storeys. It is constructed of rubble, with a facade made of squared, quarry-dressed and roughly-coursed limestone, complemented by smooth dressings. The roof is slate with a tiled ridge, deep verges, and moulded bargeboards.
The entrance is located in the recessed right-hand section and includes a slated canopy porch supported by brackets. It has a six-panel door, with the upper panels being glazed. Above the door is a plain sash window. The advanced gabled section to the left contains two six-pane, unhorned sash windows with projecting sills and plain lintels. To the right of the entrance, a rubble wall extends a short distance towards the street, aligning with the building's end gable and connecting to the forecourt railings.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
