Description
Pen y Bryn is a three-unit house with one-and-a-half storeys, built in imitation timber-framing on an external render, topped with a slate roof. It features a rendered ridge stack that is offset to the left of centre and has a high plinth. The east gable end is battered. The front of the house includes a late 20th-century gabled porch located to the left of centre, also designed in imitation timber-framing and covered with a slate roof. The eastern side of the porch has a boarded door with strap hinges.
The front windows consist of 2-light small-pane wooden casements, with one window to the left of the porch and two to the right. The attic storey has two gabled dormers that contain similar windows. There is also a casement window on the east gable. The west gable end features a 6-pane horned sash window in the attic and two windows on the ground floor. The rear of the building has not been seen. The interior has also not been seen.
