Description

The barn range at Nant-y-Ffrith is a long structure built from whitened limestone rubble and covered with a slate roof. On the eastern side, there is a large entrance to the second bay, framed in wood, with simple openings to the right and left. There is an additional entrance at the lower northern gable end, which features a loading bay above, all framed in wood. The central rear has a loading bay, possibly a winnowing door.

Inside, the barn has a five-bay layout with original tie-beam trusses, although the southernmost truss has partially collapsed.
