Description

This is a large, three-storey shop and house, dating to the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered brick or rubble with a slate roof and a brick chimney at the rear. The shopfront is plain, with a central entrance and two further entrances to a short section to the left. The left-hand section of the shopfront has stucco rustication to its ground floor. One entrance features a part-glazed Victorian door with a rectangular overlight, while the other is open and leads to a passage. The building has raised stucco quoins and moulded stucco surrounds with expressed keystones to the upper-floor windows. The first floor incorporates a wooden canted oriel window with a slated roof and moulded eaves, featuring modern timber windows. To the right of the oriel is a primary window opening with modern glazing of a similar style. A moulded sillcourse runs along the second floor, and the windows are square 12-pane sashes. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
