Description
24 Bridge Street is a single-storey building featuring three-bay pebbledash elevations on both streets, with gables above the upper windows. It has a tall slate roof and a very tall chimney stack on the right side. The Bridge Street front has two gables with small pane casement windows, and two shop fronts on the left that have pilasters and tiled stallrisers. The right shop front includes a dentil cornice and a blocked-up doorway. There are modern windows and a recessed door to Henblas on the right side.
The corner of the building is partly splayed. The Chapel Street front has three gables, with the outer gables featuring windows similar to those on the Bridge Street front, while the central gable is smaller. The roof is undulating slate with a central chimney stack. On the ground floor of Tregarth, there is a 16-pane sash window on the left, a 4-pane window with a cornice in the center, and a late Georgian shop front to the right, flanked by pilasters. The broad gable end facing southwest has casement windows, a swept roof dormer at the rear, and a half-glazed door under a lean-to hood supported by reeded iron columns.
Inside Tregarth, there are deeply chamfered and stopped cross beams and joists, along with a timber lintel over a modernized inglenook. Some doors feature roughly fielded panels.
