Description

The lodge at Brynhyfryd School is a single-storey building constructed of rock-faced coursed grey stone, topped with a slate roof. It features a central pair of diagonally-set stacks and has a plinth. The lodge is adorned with smooth dressed stone quoins and architraves around the door and windows, which are complemented by square hoodmoulds. There is a projecting block with paired gables, slightly offset to the left of center, each gable containing a boarded-over window. The entrance door is located on the right-hand return, and there is a single square window at each gable end. The rear of the lodge was not visible during the inspection.
