Description

Rosewood Cottage is part of a group of three picturesque cottages, along with Oroville House and Salop House. This two-storey cottage is symmetrical and features three windows, with a central bay that is slightly advanced and full-height gabled. The exterior is roughcast and topped with a slate roof, which has a central brick ridge stack. The upper storey is supported by projecting brackets that give the appearance of timber framing. Most of the windows are late 20th century, plain-glazed wooden casements. The entrance includes a panelled door with a round-arched light, flanked by single narrow lights on both sides. The interior has not been seen.
