Description

April Cottage is likely a late 17th century or early 18th century building featuring a four-window façade made of white-washed brick. The central openings have cambered lintels, with one of them blocked. The outer windows are raised and have flat roofs positioned just above the eaves. The windows are mainly small-pane casements, and there is a boarded door. To the left end, there is a chimney breast above a modern extension. The rear of the cottage is largely unaltered and has two windows with sliding sashes, including one small-pane window above a part-glazed door with a lintel. There is also a single-storey extension with a pitched roof on the right rear. The former coach house attached to the east has undergone significant alterations.
