Description

The Statue of a Barbarian, located to the south of the walled garden at Plas-yn-Iâl, is a sculpture depicting a nearly naked barbarian dressed in a lion skin. The figure features a wrinkled face, is balding, and has a full beard and moustache. It stands on an octagonal base consisting of two steps. The lower arms and one leg were originally carved separately and attached with iron dowels, but these parts have since become detached.
