Description
Tan-y-Graig Farmhouse is a building constructed of whitened rubble with a slated roof made of small slates and squat end chimneys. The front right gable features a brick gable parapet. The farmhouse has a symmetrical three-bay front with a central entrance. The original boarded and studded door is set in a stopped-chamfered frame with an exposed timber lintel. On either side of the entrance are slightly recessed wooden cross-windows that have small-pane glazing and cambered heads, with rough-dressed voussoirs. The first floor has second-half 19th century six-pane sash windows, and all windows are fitted with projecting stone sills. The rear of the building is plain and has a low outshut to the left section, which is likely an original feature, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
