Description
Matron's Cottage at Gloddaeth Hall is a two-storey cottage featuring rubble walls and a slate gabled roof, with a small brick chimney located at the northeast end. The front elevation includes a shallow oriel bay window on the first floor, which has transom and mullion lights, and is topped by a small half-timbered gable with a bargeboard. On the ground floor, there is a central ledged door with a wooden lintel, flanked by two two-light wooden framed windows, each with a cusped head, and the heads of these windows are protected by a canopy supported on brackets. The northeast gable end has two modern windows on the first floor, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a single light window with a cusped head, also featuring a canopy.
