Description
The Brig-y-Don Hotel, located at 14 and 15 Gloddaeth Crescent, is a hotel building featuring a front with five windows, which combines the two windows of No 14 and the three windows of No 15. The structure is made of stucco and consists of three storeys plus an attic, built over a basement.
No 15 has three windows on the main floor and three attic sash windows. It features a moulded eaves cornice, with sash windows on the second floor that have shouldered architraves. The first floor includes a plain bow window at each end bay that descends to basement level, along with a central first floor sash window that has architraves with scrolls at the base and a cornice supported by consoles. The ground floor is accessed by steps flanked by stuccoed parapets, leading up to a round-headed doorway that includes a keystone, spandrils, and a cornice, with a modern glazed door.
No 14 is similar to No 15 but has two windows and a bow window to the right. The attic features modern strip glazing.
