Description
Orme Lodge, also known as No 16 (Water's Edge) and 16A, is an attached pair of houses located on North Parade in Llandudno. These three-storey buildings with an attic feature four bays in total and have slate gabled roofs adorned with crested ridge tiles, along with two dormers on each house. The front walls are finished with roughcast cladding.
On the second floor, each house boasts two oriel bay windows supported by wooden brackets, with gables featuring bargeboards; the wider windows have three lights, while the narrower ones have two. The first floor displays sash windows with shouldered architraves and corbel heads in the first and third bays from the south end, while the second and fourth bays each feature a canted three-light bay window that descends to ground level. On the ground floor, the first and third bays from the south end have ornate square-headed doorways, each with a half-glazed panelled door.
