Description
Water's Edge, also known as No 16 and 16A Orme Lodge, is an attached pair of houses located on North Parade in Llandudno. These three-storey buildings, including an attic, feature a total of four bays. Each house has a slate gabled roof adorned with crested ridge tiles and two dormers. The front walls are finished with roughcast cladding.
On the second floor, each house boasts two oriel bay windows supported by wooden brackets, with gables featuring bargeboards; the wider windows have three lights, while the narrower ones have two. On the first floor, the first and third bays from the south end each contain a sash window with a shouldered architrave and corbel heads, while the second and fourth bays feature canted three-light bay windows that extend down to ground level. The ground floor includes ornate square-headed doorways in both the first and third bays from the south end, each with a half-glazed panelled door.
