Description
Bodoryn Cottages is a row of estate cottages built around 1860-1870 for the Kinmel Estate, likely designed by the estate architect W E Nesfield. The cottages are arranged in an 'L' plan and constructed from pale local limestone with slate roofs. They are two storeys high, with each cottage consisting of one bay. The ground floor features an off-centre boarded door and a wide multi-paned living room window, which is set under a segmental stone relieving arch. The upper floor has smaller windows, which were probably replaced in the mid-20th century. The cottages also have pierced red clayware ridges.
In front of the cottages, there is a low stone wall with flush half-round copings. Number 2 is a handed pair with Number 3, featuring a six-flue stack on the party wall and a rear gabled service wing, with the glazing having been renewed.
