Description

The Old Rectory, also known as Pennant, is a house built of rubble stone with a hipped slate roof and a central chimney stack. The main block, dating to an unknown period, is tall and contains reception rooms. It has two windows facing east, with a long range extending west. A rear wing originally comprised one bay, but this was extended in the late 19th century to three bays. A lean-to against the original bay provides an entrance, featuring a four-panelled door and paned timber windows. The main block's windows are 12-paned sashes with slender glazing bars, set in partly recessed boxes. A flat-roofed extension has been added to the north side.
