Description

This is a group of five buildings located at 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17 Gloddaeth Street, Llandudno. The buildings date from the early 20th century and each is three storeys high plus attics, with a two-window frontage. They have slate roofs, with hipped sections facing Chapel Street, and each roof features two gabled dormers with sash windows. The walls are roughcast rendered and feature a bracketed cornice. The second floor has camber-headed windows with sash glazing. The first floor is characterized by two bowed oriel windows, also with sash glazing. Each building includes a verandah supported by cast iron columns. Number 11 has a good early 20th-century shopfront. This features a central recessed doorway between display windows, with marble stall risers and brass sills, and a display case of a similar style is positioned between the windows.
