Description

18 and 19 Chapel Street in Llandudno feature a shared veranda with the adjacent 17 Gloddaeth Street. This structure dates from the late 19th century to the early 20th century and is made of cast iron. The veranda includes ornately designed spandrils and bands of cresting positioned between pairs of spandrils. In the Chapel Street elevation, the spandrils rise from the tops of the capitals rather than from higher up, as seen in the Gloddaeth Street elevation. The roof is a lean-to made of corrugated material. The Chapel Street side has three bays, while the corner has one bay, and the Gloddaeth Street side features four bays.
