Description
No 26 Chapel Street is a terraced house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with channelled stucco on the ground floor. The building has four storeys and is two windows wide. The entrance features a round-headed design with a fanlight above, although the door has been altered. On the first floor, there is a cast iron balcony with an anthemion design. The windows are square-headed sashed with gauged heads and glazing bars. The parapet has been rebuilt, and there are iron area railings in front of the house.
