Description

No. 27 Chapel Street is a terraced house from the early 19th century that has been altered. It is constructed of brick with channelled stucco on the ground floor and features a slate mansard roof. The building has four storeys plus a mansard attic and is two windows wide. The entrance is round-headed with a panelled door. There is a cast iron balcony on the first floor, and the windows are square-headed with stucco architraves, sashes, and plate glass; the first floor has French casements. The house has a parapet and iron area railings. It is included for its group value with other houses on Chapel Street.
