Description
The Midland Bank is a single-storey building constructed of ashlar, featuring a rusticated plinth and outer pilasters. It has a hipped slate roof and an angled corner. The facade facing Cefn Road has a three-window range, while the Abergele Road side has a two-window range, with the entrance located at the angle. The angle is decorated with channelled ashlar and topped with a high pediment. The round-arched entrance is adorned with a continuous outer band of stylised foliate moulding and a scrolled keystone. Above the entrance, there are moulded brackets and festoons on the frieze. The round-arched windows on the return elevations are recessed within moulded architraves that have plain keystones, positioned between Tuscan pilasters. Additional details include a moulded band below the frieze, a modillion cornice, and a balustraded parapet.
