Description
The Village Hall is a building constructed from local stone, featuring ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It has a tall facade that is one storey high and includes four window bays. Each bay contains 2-light mullioned and transomed windows with Tudor arched heads for each light, all with leaded glazing, and these are set beneath a continuous label moulding. The gables are coped and rise from kneelers, with brick gable stacks.
Prominently displayed on the facade is a heraldic panel that features the arms of Hughes/Lewis impaling Ravensworth, along with the initials FH and a motto positioned between the center windows. At both ends of the building, there are low entrance porches that are flush with the facade, and 3-light windows are present in the gable ends.
The entrance on the east side leads to a stair that takes you to the lower floor at the rear.
