Description
Pont Pensarn is a single-span double-carriageway road bridge built of coursed rubble stone, featuring a segmental arch made of tooled voussoirs. The plain parapet has been partially renewed with cement coping on the eastern side. To the southeast, there is a square rock-faced terminal pier that forms part of the forecourt wall of the adjoining bowling green. On the southwestern side, a rectangular terminal pier with saddleback coping is present, which is abutted by a later rubble-stone boundary wall from the adjoining premises. On the northern side, the parapet meets the railway bridge.
