Description

Hodesdon is a 3-storey, 2-bay house built in the 18th century. It features a roughcast exterior painted cream, with white smooth-rendered quoins, banding, and window surrounds. The house has a slate roof and end brick stacks, with openings that are offset to the left. The entrance, located on the left side, consists of a panel door with an overlight, set beneath a corbelled entablature and pediment. To the right, there is a 2-storey canted bay window with 2-pane sash windows. Above the entrance, a cambered 2-pane sash window is framed by an architrave. The upper storey contains 4-pane sash windows, with the right-hand window being larger, featuring a cambered head and situated beneath a gable with a finial.

At the rear, the house has 4-pane sash windows on the left side, along with a 1-storey projection and inserted windows on the right side. The property has not been inspected.
