Description
Pandy'r-Odyn Cottages is a building that features a one-and-a-half storey range on the right, which is separated by an asymmetric gabled cross range from an earlier 18th century single storey cottage on the extreme left. The structure is built with rubble masonry and has steeply pitched slate roofs with deep eaves. The right range and the gabled cross range have exposed purlins and bargeboards. There are three tall diagonally-set stone stacks with water tabling, and a similar stack is located at the centre of the older cottage on the left.
The right range includes five loft windows situated under low swept dormers at the eaves. There are four two-light casement windows with pointed heads and stone sills, along with a single three-light casement window that has a cambered head on the left side. A modern window is present in the cross-gable. The older cottage features a gabled dormer that is set entirely within the roof and has bargeboards. On the ground floor, there are six two-light casement windows, and the original heavy mullioned style is preserved in the cottage (formerly two) at the extreme right, complete with stone lintels.
Additionally, there is a small rectangular bay with a stone slab roof on the right side of the cross-wing, which has a three-light casement window. A three-light casement window with a stone lintel is located to the left. The older cottage on the right has two doorways and a two-light mullioned window on the extreme left, also featuring a stone lintel. The left end and rear elevations have modern fenestration.
