Description
Heulfryn is a three-storey former town house from the late Regency period. It is constructed of uncoursed, squared stone blocks, with the ground floor finished in roughcast. The roof is covered with renewed slate and features end chimneys with plain cornicing. The facade is symmetrical, featuring a central entrance with a half-glazed door and a plain rectangular fanlight. An open porch supported by Tuscan columns has a simply-moulded entablature. To the left of the entrance is a Victorian canted wooden bay window with moulded cornices and 4-pane casements, while to the right is a modern bay window. The first floor has two large windows with 4-pane casements that function as French windows, opening onto a balcony supported by cast-iron brackets and decorated with ironwork. The second floor has plain 2-pane casements. In front, there are low slatestone forecourt walls topped with spear-headed railings. The rear elevation features 16-pane sash windows on the upper floors and a tall arched stair window with marginal glazing. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
