Description
The barn range at Ty Uchaf is a long single-storey structure built from local rubble, featuring boulder foundations and a rubble gable parapet at the lower left end. The upper section encases a 5-bay full-cruck building, which has a slated roof, while the later, lower section is topped with a corrugated iron roof. There are two entrances with stable doors on the right side of the upper section, along with an additional entrance in the center that has no door. A small opening is located on the left side, and there is another entrance at the lower gable end. The upper gable also includes a boarded loading bay.
Inside, the barn has an eight-bay layout with collar trusses, where the upper five bays consist of full crucks. There is a partition wall at the end of the third bay.
