Description

Ffynnon Fair is a structure built of rubble masonry. It features a rectangular enclosure that is largely collapsed, with the exception of the eastern side where a doorway with a stone lintel remains intact at the extreme right. Inside, there is a stone-lined rectangular pool, and flagstones create a walkway along the enclosure walls.

Historically, the well was believed to be effective in treating rheumatic diseases during the 18th century, but the site may date back much further, as Roman coins were found there in the late 17th century.
