Description
The building is a U-shaped range known as the Stable Tables and Loose Box to Bryn Mair, dating from the 19th century. It faces south and is constructed of rubble masonry with a moderately pitched quarry slate roof, featuring plain eaves and exposed purlins.
On the left side is a two-storey coach house. It has a broad entry with a timber lintel and a flagged floor. Above the entry, there is a boarded loft window, and a loft door with a stone lintel is located on the gable end. The coachman's rooms are situated at the rear, facing the house. The gable end has a small paned casement window, and there are two similar windows on the ground floor, with a doorway offset to the right. Inside, there is a small fireplace in the corner and a ladder stair.
Adjoining to the right is an L-shaped stable range. The center has been altered to create garaging, but originally featured a central doorway flanked by windows. A cross window remains on the left, which was formerly fitted with lead cames. To the right, there are two looseboxes, each with two doors and one window, all with stone lintels, and the outer corner is canted.
