Description
Isfryn is a row of four houses numbered 7A to 10A on Heol Tan-y-bryn in Abergynolwyn. These houses were built from slate rubble and feature slate roofs. They are two storeys high, with attics and cellars, and have a double-depth plan that includes two and three bays. The doors have three raised-moulded panels and are set in staff-moulded frames, topped with deep fanlights. The ground and first floors have twelve-paned sash windows, while the attic at the rear has six-pane windows. All openings are framed with deep stone lintels, and chimney stacks with outsetting heads are located on the party walls.
Number 8A has two window bays and remains largely in its original external condition, featuring unhorned sash windows, railings, and a gate at the front. There is also a single-storey outbuilding at right angles to the rear.
