Description
7A Heol Tan-y-bryn, including railings to front, is a row of four houses numbered 7A to 10A in Abergynolwyn. These houses are constructed from slate rubble and feature slate roofs. They are two storeys high, with attics and cellars, and have a double-depth plan consisting of two and three bays. The doors have three raised-moulded panels and are set in staff-moulded frames, topped with deep fanlights. The ground and first floors have twelve-paned sash windows, while the rear attics feature six-pane windows. All openings are adorned with deep stone lintels, and the chimney stacks have outsetting heads positioned on the party walls.
The façade includes three window bays, a modern panelled door with an overlight featuring cast glass, and uPVC simulated twelve-pane sash windows—three on each upper floor. There is a brick panel on the ground floor where the original door was located. To the right of the current entrance, the door and windows are enclosed by low cast iron railings with javelin heads and urn corner finials. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to at the rear.
