Description

Tyn Ffordd Fawr is a two-storey farmhouse constructed from mortared rubble masonry, featuring large stones as quoins and lintels. It has a slate roof with slightly advanced eaves and slate-hung verges. The building includes a rectangular stone stack with capping on the right (eastern) gable and an external square stack on the left. The principal elevation faces south towards the road and river valley, showcasing a central boarded door flanked by two-light timber casement windows. The wing on the left likely replaces an earlier service wing and has smooth rendered elevations with modern timber casement windows. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003.
