Description
The outbuilding at Helyg is a single-storey structure with a lean-to pitched roof, located directly behind the main building. It features large bedrock boulders at both the east and west ends. There is a stack, which may have been added in the 1920s, at the east end. The north wall has rough cock and hen capping. On the south side, there is a boarded door next to a catslide extension that houses a toilet, also possibly from the 1920s.
Inside, the outbuilding consists of a single room with an additional lean-to at the front, which was not inspected. The roof is fully torched with slates, and there is a fireplace inserted at the northeast corner, featuring a large stone lintel that spans two of the massive bedrock boulders.
