Description

Pont Bethania is a large triple-span road bridge, approximately 20 meters long. It is built of rubble and features a wide segmental central arch along with smaller segmental flanking arches. The rough-dressed voussoirs are recessed below the arch rings made of narrow stones. On the upstream side, there are two low triangular cutwaters. The carriageway is humped at the center and has slab-coped parapets that are splayed at the approaches, terminating at the southern end in flat, shallow buttresses. At both ends, the parapets connect to low modern rubble walls.
