Former Laundry at Cors y Gedol Hall

The former laundry at Cors y Gedol Hall is a small cottage built in the 19th century. It is one and a half storeys tall with a single room layout. The structure is made of roughly coursed rubble masonry, featuring large boulders at the base of the walls, and large stones used for the quoins and lintels. The roof is slate with a single gable stack on the right southeast gable, complete with dripstones and capping. There is a single-storey addition against the southeast gable.

The main elevation has a two-window range facing the approach to the hall to the southwest, with a single doorway positioned towards the centre. To the right, there is a massive raking buttress made of coursed rubble masonry. The first floor features two timber casement windows with two lights in raking dormers that interrupt the eaves line. The left northwest gable has ground and first floor windows, including a two-light timber casement at ground level and a slightly larger three-light window at the gable apex.

The interior was not inspected during the survey, but it is noted to have a single room plan with stop-chamfered ceiling beams and joists, a wide fireplace with a stone chimney stair, and a collar beam roof.
