Description
Upper Lodge at Cors y Gedol Hall is a two-storey lodge built in the Gothic style using mortared rubble masonry. It features a steep slate roof with overhanging eaves and verges, along with stone gable stacks that have dripstones and capping. The main elevation faces the approach to the estate grounds along Ffordd Gors to the southwest. The entrance is marked by a gabled porch that contains a pointed arch doorway, with lancet windows on the side walls. The ground floor windows on either side of the porch are 2-light timber casements with flat heads, and above the porch is a pointed arched casement window with 2 lights. The lateral walls also feature similar windows in gabled dormers, while the northwest wall includes a ground floor canted bay window made of timber casements. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
