Description

The sundial in St Mary's Churchyard is an octagonal, baluster-shaped stone structure. It features a moulded top with a decorative band resembling acanthus leaves. The gnomon and plate are missing. The stem of the sundial swells out towards the base, which is adorned with scalloped leaf ornamentation that clasps fishscale designs. The base is inscribed with "AJ 1835 LR."
