Description

The churchyard gates and railings at St Mary's Parish Church feature tall, sunk panelled cast iron gatepiers topped with moulded flat pyramidical caps. The iron gates are adorned with spear finials, dog bars, and a rose motif on the lock rail. The railings, which share similar detailing, are set on squared rubble dwarf walls that have freestone caps. Additionally, there are squared rubble end piers, also topped with flat pyramidical caps made of freestone.
