Description
Plas-isa is a two-storey building constructed from coursed squared rubble stonework and topped with a hipped slate roof. The main elevation, which faces east, features three bays that include a central panelled door and flanking margin-glazed windows. These are all covered by an open timber lean-to verandah that has a slated roof and modillion eaves. On the first floor, there are 9-paned single sash windows, with the central window being blind. A stone stack is located on the party wall with No 2, and there is another stack with weather courses at the northern end of the hipped roof. At the rear, there is a contemporary lean-to that contains 16-paned sash windows, likely used for service rooms. Further back, there is a single-storey washhouse set at right angles, which has a side door and a 6-paned sash window.
