Description
The Former Keepers' Accommodation at St Tudwal's Lighthouse is a building that dates from the same period as the lighthouse tower and is designed in relation to it. The exterior features smooth render over stone or brick, a flat roof, an unmoulded cornice, and a blocking course. The layout is symmetrical, with a central entrance facing west and a blocked rear entrance. The west elevation includes a central square porch with a plain cornice and blocking course, along with doorways on either side. There are two 8-pane sash windows on each side of the porch, although some are now boarded over. The return elevations also feature similar three-window arrangements. The building is set into a slope, with the rear elevation partly below ground level, accessed by a narrow walkway. This elevation has a blocked central entrance and an asymmetrical arrangement of openings, including an outer doorway and a flanking window to the right, and outer and central doors on the left with flanking windows.
