Description

Machroes Farmhouse is a two-storey farmhouse featuring a main range constructed of whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof made of large graded slates and stone end stacks. To the left, there is a service wing that is slightly higher and uphill, which is roughcast with a regular slate roof and a roughcast left end stack. The main range is double-fronted and has small 4-pane horned sash windows along with a ledged door that has an overlight, positioned offset to the right of the centre. The service wing includes a large 4-pane sash window on the lower level, a smaller sash window above, and two cement sill courses, with the left end wall also being roughcast.
