Description
This is a Cornish engine-house, constructed from rubble stone and currently roofless. The structure features a tall square tower with a gabled rear, flat-topped side walls, and a large square upper opening at the front for a balance-beam. The front has a doorway with a timber lintel, while the left side includes a window on the ground floor to the right and another window at the center of the first floor. The right side has a door on the left. At the rear, there is a blocked ground floor opening along with windows on the first floor and in the loft. The side walls step in at the first floor.
The building is both roofless and floorless, with visible holes for floor beams, and the walls are stepped out at the sides at the first floor. There are signs of alterations throughout the structure.
