Description

The Pennant Lead Mine Winding Engine House is a Cornish engine house built from uncoursed local limestone masonry, measuring approximately 5 meters square at the base, with its bob wall located to the south. Although it has no roof, the masonry remains intact to its full height. Fragments of adjacent walls can be seen at the northeast and southeast corners.

The openings typically feature timber lintels, but no frames are present. There are marks of two bearing beams on the north elevation. Additionally, the anchor irons of a missing tie rod can be found at high levels on the east and west walls.
