Description
The Squash Court at Haulfryn is a listed building featuring a squash court with concrete walls that slope up to the northern wall. Above the concrete, there is a wooden rustic superstructure with weatherboarded walls and a row of louvred openings beneath the eaves of a shallow pitched roof. The southern front has a very shallow central gable. Attached to the southern front is a rustic viewing gallery that has a hipped felted roof, which was originally thatched. The front of the first floor has wany-edge boarding and a leaded centre pointed window under the gablet. The eastern end of the first floor features an overhanging oriel with canted sides, adorned with 1-3-1 leaded lights and a leaded roof. The ground floor is open on posts and includes a rustic single flight of stairs leading up to the gallery, with rough fretwork balustrades.
