Description
28 Segontium Terrace is a pair of late Georgian houses, built slightly higher than the rest of the terrace at 20-26 Segontium Terrace. The buildings are three storeys tall and have two bays, featuring graded slate roofs with corbelled eaves and roughcast stacks on the right side. The original 19th-century cast iron railings are still in place on a dwarf stone wall, complete with decorative finials, although the gates have been replaced.
The front of the houses is pebble-dashed, with an added scribed roughcast porch. The windows have been replaced but are set in their original openings, now featuring 20th-century architraves with sill bands. The doorway on the lower left is located within an added gabled porch and retains its original radial-glazed overlight. The right gable end is finished in scribed roughcast, and the rear roof slope has an added skylight.
