22 Segontium Terrace, including forecourt railings

22 Segontium Terrace, including forecourt railings, is a late Georgian terrace consisting of seven three-storey, two-bay houses with basements. The houses feature rendered fronts, with some retaining original moulded architraves around the windows and exposed rubble stone walls at the rear. The slate roofs are graded to the rear slopes, and each house has either a brick or roughcast chimney stack on the right side. The doorways are located on the left sides and are accessed by steps. Many of the houses still have their original iron railings set on dwarf stone walls, although the gates leading to the basement steps have been replaced. The railings are adorned with trident finials and urn finials on the stanchions.

The original scribed stucco front includes moulded architraves around four-pane sash windows, with a blind upper left window. The doorway is situated within a shallow half-glazed porch that has been added, featuring a replaced door but retaining its original radial-glazed overlight. The original railings are still present. This terrace is part of the group of 20-26 Segontium Terrace.
