Description
This is a late Georgian terrace of seven 3-storey, 2-bay houses with basements. The front elevations are rendered, while the rear walls are of exposed rubble stone. Some of the houses retain original moulded architraves around the windows. The slate roofs slope to the rear, and each house has a brick or roughcast chimney stack on the right-hand side. The doorways are on the left-hand side and are accessed by steps. Many of the houses retain original iron railings set on a low stone wall, with replacement gates leading to the basement steps. The railings feature trident finials and urn finials on the stanchions. One house has a late 19th-century roughcast front, with earlier keyed moulded architraves to its 4-pane sash windows. An open, hipped-roof porch with a round arch has been added, while the original doorway features a fielded-panel door with an inserted glazed panel and a replaced overlight. The original railings are retained, with a replaced gate.
